Health benefits of Oil Pulling:

1. Improves Immunity

Oil pulling is an effective detoxifying technique and immune booster, because it helps remove bacteria, and stops it from making its way down to your gut.

3. Higher Energy level

If you’re teeth limit what you can eat due to the temperature of the foods or beverages this technique can definitely help improve that for you.  It helps strengthen your enamel, which in turn makes your teeth less sensitive.

5. Whiter Teeth

Oil pulling has helped me maintain a white smile when done regularly. It helps remove plaque build up, hence the whiter pearls.

6. Healthier and Stronger heart

Research is beginning to show that bacteria and inflammation in the mouth are linked to problems like heart attack and dementia. Because oil pulling helps keep your mouth in good health you’re lowering your risk for certain heart concerns.

7. Helps Prevent Gingivitis

Gingivitis is a very common and mild form of gum disease that causes irritation, redness and inflammation of the gums. This is often caused by bacteria, so by removing the bacteria with oil pulling your are helping prevent this gum disease.

Steps for oil pulling:

  1. To reap the benefits of oil pulling be sure to do it first thing in the morning right after you get out of bed — before you brush your teeth, eat,  or drink anything.
  2. Swish 1–2 tablespoons of coconut oil in your mouth and between your teeth for 10–20 minutes, making sure that you don’t swallow any of the oil. Don’t swish to vigorously. Do it slowly, because you don’t want your jaw to tire out.
  3. Spit out the oil in the trash or toilet bowl to avoid clogging sink pipes.
  4. Rinse mouth out with warm water.
  5. Brush your teeth, and you’ve completed the oil pull.
