Raspberry-banana Smoothie

Raspberries are amazing in taste when they’re properly ripened, and they also happen to be packed with strong antioxidants such as Vitamin C, quercetin and gallic acid that help fight against cancer, heart and circulatory disease, and can even slow down the aging process. They are high in ellagic acid, which is known as a chemo-preventative, and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. We don’t often consider all the health benefits that a single fruit can offer our body, and it definitely amazes me when I do discover all the benefits I’m getting when drinking these different fruit smoothie concoctions, because who new health can taste this good! This smoothie is one of my favorite recipes, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well!
