Home Remedies to Whiten Teeth Naturally (Vegan Friendly)

Did you guys know that having a whiter smile can make others feel more connected and attracted to you on a subconscious level? Did you also know that you can make a better first impression, and feel more confident with whiter teeth? Whether or not you want to admit to it you have at one point or another talked to someone and noticed they’re perfectly white teeth, and thought “wow, I want teeth like that,” or if they lacked white teeth you probably thought that they should probably start brushing they’re teeth.   White teeth have become a symbol of youthfulness, and good hygiene. Soo if you’ve been wanting to get your smile a shade or two whiter without using methods that can strip your teeth of their enamel leaving them annoyingly sensitive here’s a few different home remedies that I’ve personally used, and have gotten results from. They’re also vegan friendly, which is why I’ve decided to make this post. I’m always looking for new ways to care for my teeth, and skin without having to use items that are not vegan friendly, and I’m sure that there are others out there who are on the same page as me on that end .  Coconut oil:

Benefits:
  • Heals gums, even bleeding gums.  Organic-Virgin-Coconut-Oil-and-Extra-Virgin
  • Kills bad breath
  • Antibacterial
  • detox
How to:
Swish a tablespoon of oil in your mouth every morning for for 10-20 minutes.

Banana Peel:

Benefits:
  • Contains potassium
  • Magnesium
  • Manganese
How to:
Rub inside of the banana peel over your teeth for 2-3 minutes, then brush as usual. This can be repeated once a week.

Baking Soda:

  • Mild abrasive property to remove the stains from teeth.
How to:
Mix a small amount of baking soda with lemon juice. Use it as toothpaste to brush teeth. You can use this teeth whitening method once a week. Used too often it can lead to teeth sensitivity.

Turmeric:

  • Has astringent and abrasive properties to clean your teeth
How to:
Wet your toothpaste and then dip it in some turmeric powder, brush teeth as normal. You can use this teeth whitening method once a week.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

  • Antibacterial
  • Helps prevent plaque build up
How to:
Swish with a solution pf one part vinegar and two parts water. You can safely use this teeth whitening method once or twice a week.

Activated charcoal:

  • Removes tough stains caused by tea/coffee/smoking, and leaves them feeling super images (3)clean.
How to:
Mix the powder with water, the dab it on your teeth. You can brush, or wait for three minutes with the mixture on your teeth before brushing it off.
